Wah pedals are the easiest to use. Just plug the wah pedal into your amp and plug your guitar into the wah(so you'll need 2 guitar chords).To make the wah sound you just move the pedal back and forth with your foot. I think the wah is the best of all the effects, and of course is used by all the good lead guitar players. The music store here at guitartabbooks has all the cool wah pedals, and I have tried quite alot of them before, and they all sound very much the same, producing the wah sound, so it's a matter of finding one that fits your budget.I Jam On The Cry Baby!!!!!!

I use the original crybaby wah pedal. As far as learning to use it. Its more of a feeling type effect. The way I learned was plugged it in and experimented with in until I got it to sound right. It's definitely the most expressive of all effects i've ever used. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to play lead guitar. And coupled with other effects it becomes even more impressive.
