dude.. its all about ebay.com, u can find about nething you want there for a decent price. or if not then just ask around at local shops and such.
but now i have a question for everyone....
so i have been playing seriously for around a year and a half. i play every night for at least an hour, and have lessons once a week. for some strange reason i just cant get that savage vibrato... would strengthening my fingers help alot? or is it more coordination than strength?

I would have to warn others about e-bay, as 2 of my best friends have both been stung on e-bay, and all 3 of us have never been stung when buying from musicians friend. They offer the garunteed lowest price, and deliver fast. About the vibrato technique, ....this takes time to develop, and is among the hardest of all the techniques to develop. I think the keyword is to be "agressive" and use alot of strength. A good way to develop this technique is to begin by slowly string bending a note to a whole step, then releasing it back to it's normal pitch, then try to do this in a continued motion, as you try to build speed. Another good artist to listen to and watch is Angus Young who has among the most awesome vibrato.

Not good. I sent Scott an e-mail and aske him about that and he told me that these would stiffen my fingers and I would loose speed if anything. Of course, I had to find out so I bought one anyway, and of course he was right ;D He told me that there's no better exercise to get better at playing, than playing the guitar and recommended that I double my practice schedule(which of course , he was right again , but the best advice he gave me was to get a used acoustic that had not so good of action, so the strings were a bit high off the neck, and a bit harder to play, and even suggested that I add a haevy gauge string. The theory is, it's like a track runner wearing ankle weights. When you switch back to your electric with lighter strings, you can play twice as smooth, and twicw as fast, and will have alot more control Hey....I hope this helps, it sure helped me.
