You'll find additional free Motley Crue tabs at the link below. www.guitartabbooks.com/freelessons/freeguitarlessonsonline.htmIn addition, Mick Mars is a well rounded educated guitarist and one of my favorite players. He use's a lot of scales and modes in combinations that the average guitarist often does not know. I am currently teaching many students online who learn from my private teaching service www.guitartabbooks.com/freelessons/skypewebcamguitarlessons.htmhow Mick Mars and other metal guitarist use modes like the "Phrygian Mode" which is a minor mode, in combination with the Blues Minor Scale. Here's the notes played in the "Phrygian Mode" played in the key of A. A, A#,C,D,E,F,G,A =========== The Phrygian mode is also known as the "Spanish Guitar Scale" to many. To experiment with this mode in the key of E, the correct notes to play would be as follows... E,F,G,A,B,C,D,E =========== There's also a "Phrygian Dominant Mode" that's widely used by many guitarist. The correct notes to play the Phrygian Dominant Mode in the key of E, are as follows... E,F,G#,A,B,C,D,E =========== When playing the Blues Minor Scale in the key of A, the correct notes are A,C,D,D#,E,G,A. To play the Blues Minor Scale in the key of E, the correct notes are... E,G,,A,A#,B,D,E. Hopefully this will be of some help to everyone who reads this particular post. When I teach students online using my webcam SKYPE lessons, I also teach how to add the actual guitar techniques like "hammer-on, pull-off, vibrato, string bends, and so on...) to the scales and modes you learn, so you can learn how to turn these scales & modes into actual guitar solos. And for those who are interested in "Flash Guitar Technique's", I also teach my students how to finger tap all 7 modes, or the Blues Minor Scale, or other scales of their choice. I allow my students to choose what they want to learn. If you're interested in learning more about my private teaching services online, see the link below: www.guitartabbooks.com/freelessons/skypewebcamguitarlessons.htmShould you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly at : guitartabbooks@yahoo.comAnd I will reply to you within 24 hours.
