Yes in fact. There are a few good programs out there. I happen to favor programs that offer good quality customer support. When your first learning a new program, especially creating "real tablature" where the fonts do'nt shift and fall out of alignment, it's important to be able to ask for help, and get it. I recommend TLC www.tabslyricschords.comWebmaster Mike is the best offering top of the line support, and did I mention that... You can also create bass tabs, 2 guitars, guitar &bass, and lyrics....and , and ..and ... ;D Quite honestly...Mike offers the best program available. |

Hi SixStringer, you mentioned picking, so a question: I know that using a pick and using fingers produce different sounds. Is there a rule of thumb, so to speak, about which you do and when? Without getting too technical, if possible.
I started learning when I was 18 - bare fingers, and didn't stay with it, which I regret. Can you learn using a pick? Or should you always start with fingers?
