Hey everyone! If you could have one guitar that would make your collection complete, what would it be? If you could have one axe that would quench your thirst for guitar, what would it's name be? Post your dream guitar here!

this will take a little time but you might find it very interesting. I am 62 yrs old and have had a love/hate relationship with guitars from when I was 14 yrs old. I have retired now and have started to play again. i have a 76 guild 412 12 string and a 75 mossman 6 string. I have always wanted a one of a kind guitar and have been able to fill my dream. Scott Baxendale was part of the crew that built my mossman in 74. he has gone on to found colfax guitar shop in denver. he builds custom and one of a kind guitars if you have the bread. itraded in my mossman and am buying the guitar of my dreams. even if you do not buy you should check out his web site.(search for'colfax guitar shop' and you will find it. my new guitar is going to be great.

That's wicked! If I ever had the scratch to get a custom job done I think my decision would be to go to Karl Sandoval. I don't know if he's still around but he was the guy who helped Randy Rhoads customize his famous "Polka Dot Flying V". Other than that I already have my dream guitar. My parents bought it for me along with two other vintage guitars and a vintage amp. The guitar is a 1963 Fender Telecaster in Blond with a white pickguard. It's a dream come true. The other guitars I got with that package were a 1978 Gibson ES-120 and a (brace yourself) 1970 Martin D-35. The amp I got was a Gibson Explorer 100W tube amp. I'm not sure of the year though. Anywho, that just about does it for my vintage guitar collection.

I got it on sale for a great price $600.00 also changed over to the crate GLX212 amp with a extra 4x12 cabinet. I got the amp but the guitar is on back order. I play in a cover band. We working local gigs until we've got enough cash together to record our originals.

That is totally cool. What's the name of your band and what kind of music do you play, and where are you located?

Thanks D, When you play covers what you play can make you or break you. I maybe able to give you a link to a video clip we did. As fas as being well organized not what I should be in that dept. Working on that. I found you because I run a forum on proboards. antifvza.proboards25.com/index.cgiI was going to start a guitar forum but since you have one i'd rather come here this is nice. I'd be happy to share any tips I have with your users. But I'm hoping to pick up some tips myself you can always learn stuff from these kinds of forums. That's what's great about them. Anyway the video clip of us is home.comcast.net/~jokerzwild183/oneclip1.wmvNot the best sound because it was a TV Studio not a sound studio. But it's live so that may count for something.
